Dr. Li-Chen Chengis currently the Associate Dean of the College of Management and the Director of the IMBA program.
Her research primarily focuses on applying deep learning and artificial intelligence techniques to address industry-related challenges. Her work includes knowledge graphs, LLM applications in industries, anomaly detection (such as fake information and cyberattacks), digital marketing analytics, digital finance research, as well as sentiment and social network analysis.
Dr Cheng serves as an editorial board member and a reviewer for more than 10 academic journals. She has published papers in in well organized SSCI and SCI journals including Decision Sciences, Decision Support Systems, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, Journal of Information Science, European Journal of Operational Research, Applied Soft Computing and many others.
She was a visiting scholar The George Washington University (GW) at 2015 summer vacation.
At present, the teaching courses include two main axes, one is the professional courses related to information management, and the other is the courses in information technology.
She was previously a faculty member at Soochow University at Taiwan. She received her Ph.D. degree in information management from National Central University.
