Dr. Li-Chen Cheng joined the National Taipei University of Technology in 2019, where she is an Professor of Department of Information and Finance Management. Her research interests include deep learning, opinion mining, financial technique, AI in E marketing, business intelligence and decision making models. Dr Cheng serves as an editorial board member and a reviewer for more than 10 academic journals. She has published papers in in well organized SSCI and SCI journals including Decision Sciences, Decision Support Systems, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, Journal of Information Science, European Journal of Operational Research, Applied Soft Computing and many others.
She was a visiting scholar The George Washington University (GW) at 2015 summer vacation.
At present, the teaching courses include two main axes, one is the professional courses related to information management, and the other is the courses in information technology.
She was previously a faculty member at Soochow University at Taiwan. She received her Ph.D. degree in information management from National Central University.
